sonyaddehaṃ16 samāsthāya paurāṇaṃ surasattamaḥ .
devaiḥ sarvaiḥ parivṛto jagāma bhavamandiram . .1 6. .

Assuming another ancient body, that best of the gods, / surrounded by all the gods, went to the abode of Bhava. / There he saw Mahādeva, wearing a crown of matted hair, / who dispelled the mass of darkness with a flood of rays from the crescent moon,
