bhinnavyūhām̐stato24 daityān25 pramathā jitakāśinaḥ .
drudruvuḥ śataśo vṛkṣān pakvāñchakunayo26 yathā ..23..
tataḥ punarabhūdyuddhaṃ27 kolāhalasamākulam .
pramathānāñca śūrāṇāmasurāṇāñca dāruṇam .24..
sannipāte28 punasteṣāṃ gajānāmiva dāruṇe .
nedurdevāḥ sagandharvāḥ siddhāśca divi harṣitāḥ .25..
nānāvidhāstūryaravāstato dānavapārṣadaiḥ29 ..
aśrūyanta kṛtā ghorā meghānāṃ nadatāmiva ..26..

Then the Pramathas, assuming the air of victors, rushed at the Daityas / whose array had been shattered, by hundreds, like birds upon ripe trees. // 23
Then battle broke out once more, filled with clamor, / fierce between the valiant Pramathas and the Asuras. // 24
When they clashed again in dreadful collision like rutting elephants, / the gods with the Gandharvas and Siddhas in the sky shouted with joy. // 25
Then manifold, dreadful sounds of musical horns made by the Dānava attendants / were heard, like the roaring of clouds. // 26
