dharāyāṃ46 nāsayādāya kujambhaṃ tu vināyakaḥ .
pracikṣepa mahāvīryo yathā bhūtabaliṃ naraḥ ..44. .
kujambhe mandaraprakhye47 vināyakabhujerite .
cukrudhurdānavāḥ sarve terdayaṃśca vināyakam . .45..

Then the mighty Vināyaka seized Kujambha by the trunk on the ground / and hurled him away, as a man [casts off] an offering to spirits. / When Kujambha, who resembled Mount Mandara, was hurled by Vināyaka’s arm, / all the Dānavas grew enraged and assailed Vināyaka.
