With his limbs severely pierced by Jambha's arrows, his red eyes bathed in the blood streaming from his frontal lobes, / the god shook his trunk-tip and head, and rushed at Jambha as a thirsty man rushes to water. / Repeatedly striking him hard with his strong trunk-tip and repeatedly roaring, / the mighty one then seized the chariot in the battle and hurled it away along with its horses, banner, weapons, and wheels.
