With its shattered banner and flag blown away, with its swords, spears, javelins, and thousands of arrows falling out, / the chariot of the son of Asura fell, like the ardent desire of a penniless man. / Leaving the chariot that was about to fall, the son of Prahrāda, having the power of Indra and the storm clouds, / stood shining in the sky bearing a lance, just like the Lance-bearer [Skanda] standing in the sky.
