priyā gṛhītvā ditijāstataste pranaṣṭakāmāstarasā51bhijagmuḥ .
niṣkrāntamātrāśśivaśaktimūḍhāḥ52 petuḥ samudre balaviprayuktāḥ ..54..

Then those sons of Diti, seizing their beloveds, their desires vanished, fled with haste;
and as soon as they went forth, confounded by the power of Śiva and bereft of strength, they fell into the ocean.
