830 / Bowed to and worshipped by the Bālakhilyas, having invited all the best of brahmins across the three worlds, he returned once more and went to Mandara, where [the Lord] was staying together with the Goddess. / Then, approaching the Lord of the world, the Lord of the gods, the bee to the lotus-face of the Daughter of the Mountain, the bestower of boons upon Kubera, the Lord of spirits, the Lord of the attendants' hosts spoke this: / 'The brahmins who move in heaven and on earth, endowed with tranquility, self-restraint, discipline, purity, and truthfulness— / O crusher of Tripura, O destroyer of Death, all of them have been invited by me at your command.' / Thus ends the one hundred and sixty-first chapter, named 'The Inviting of the Brahmins,' in the context of adopting the tree-son, in the Skandapurāṇa.
