dvijāstapasvino ye tu vedavidyāviśāradāḥ .
muktidāstu26 bhaveyuste devānāmapi devatāḥ . .28. .
ahaṃ pitāmahaścaiva teṣāṃ yonidvayaṃ27 smṛtam .
mattaḥ pūrvaṃ prasūtāste tato devi pitāmahāt ..29..

Those twice-born who are ascetics, proficient in the knowledge of the Vedas— / they are the givers of liberation, gods even unto the gods. // 28
I and the Grandfather are declared to be their two wombs: / they were born from me first, O goddess, and then from the Grandfather. // 29
