rathine carmiṇe caiva maheśāya ca vai namaḥ . . 21 . .
namastriśūlahastāya ugradaṇḍadharāya ca .
namo gaṇādhipataye rudrāṇāṃ pataye namaḥ . . 2 2. .

To the quiver-bearer, the sword-bearer, and the bearer of the battle-axe, / to the charioteer, the shield-bearer, and indeed homage to Maheśa.
Homage to him whose hand holds the three-pronged spear, the bearer of the fierce staff; / homage to the lord of the gaṇas, homage to the lord of the Rudras.
