namaḥ sahasranetrāya śatanetrāya vai namaḥ .
ādityānāṃ
15 pataye vasūnāṃ pataye namaḥ . .23 . .
namaḥ pṛthivyāḥ pataye ākāśapataye namaḥ .

Homage to him with a thousand eyes, homage indeed to him with a hundred eyes; / to the lord of the Ādityas, homage to the lord of the Vasus.
Homage to the lord of the earth, homage to the lord of space;
