brahmahā bhrūṇahā caiva surāpo brāhmaṇaśca yaḥ .
gavāṃ nipāne yaścaiva pipāsūnāṃ narādhamaḥ12 ..8. .
vighnaṃ karoti mohāndha13 āhūya bhartsayettu yaḥ14 .
brāhmaṇān dveṣṭi nityaṃ15 ya arthinaṃ yaśca dūṣayet ..9. .

He who is a killer of a brahmin, a killer of an embryo, or a liquor-drinking brahmin; / and that vilest of men who, blinded by delusion, creates an obstacle / at a drinking trough for thirsty cattle; he who insults [a guest] after summoning him; / he who constantly hates brahmins, and he who repudiates a petitioner;
