vāyavo me śarīrasthā na cariṣyanti216 karhicit .
nimeṣonmeṣarahita ekapādordhvabāhumān217 . .
kāṣṭhaloṣṭhopalībhūto bhaviṣyāmi na saṃśayaḥ .. 8.52.110 . .
rudraṃ drakṣyāmi218 yāvacca yāvacca pitaraṃ tathā .

the vital airs abiding in my body shall never move. / Deprived of blinking and opening my eyes, standing on one foot with raised arms, / having become like wood, a clod of earth, or stone, I shall remain, without doubt, / as long as I do not see Rudra and likewise as long as I do not see my father.
