teṣāmāgamanaṃ jñātvā saha svarlokavāsibhiḥ .
apasṛtya jagāmāśu janasthānaṃ śatakratuḥ . . 37. .
mero śikharamāruhya sarvetha sahitāstadā .
senā niveśayāmāsurnandane te suradviṣaḥ43 .. 38..

Knowing of their approach, Śatakratu, along with the dwellers of heaven, / fled and quickly went to Janasthāna. / Having ascended the peak of Meru, all together then, / those enemies of the gods encamped their army in the Nandana grove.
