śrutvā tad vacanaṃ tasya prāha devī smayanniva36
(?) .
tṛṇāni mama daityendrāḥ sarvepi raṇamūrdhani ..35. .
nivedayasva śuṃbhasya gaccha tvaṃ dānavādhama .

Hearing those words of his, the Goddess, as if smiling, said: / 'All the lords of the Daityas are mere blades of grass to me in the forefront of battle! // Report [this] to Śumbha; go, you lowest of Dānavas!
