tamuvāca suraśreṣṭhaḥ śirasā59 pādayornatam .
ayante suraśārdūla putraḥ60 putraśatāgrajaḥ61 ..92. .
māvajñāmandha62 ityasya kuryāstvamasurādhipa .
bhavitā te mahāneṣa tapovīrthabalānvitaḥ ..93 . .
na kasyacitvayaṃ63 vadhyo mattonyasya bhaviṣyati .
tataḥ sa bhagavāndevastasmai dattvā sutaṃ śubham ..94..

The best of gods said to him who was bowed at his feet with his head: / “O tiger among gods, this son of yours will be the eldest of a hundred sons.
O lord of asuras, do not disdain him because he is blind. / He will become great, endowed with the power of austerity and heroism.
