utpatsyati na ca drogdhā tataḥ kṣaṃsyāma taṃ surāḥ .
atha cetkarkaśosmāsu drogdhā vā sa18 bhaviṣyati ..43 . .
tata enamahaṃ baddhvā kālapāśena bālakam .
.āneṣye19 svavaśaṃ20 krūraṃ mṛtyunā sahitomarāḥ ..44..

and is born not an enemy, then we will tolerate him, O gods. / But if he proves harsh toward us, or becomes an enemy, / then I, binding this boy with the noose of Time, / shall bring him, cruel as he is, under my control along with Death, O immortals!
