7.9.45_76

udgātā caiva prahlādaḥ śukro brahmā ca suvrataḥ .
paśurindraḥ sahasrākṣa evaṃ soyajadavyayaḥ . .8. .
tasmim̐stadā mahāyajñe vartamāne mahābhaye .
indraḥ samāsadaddaityaṃ hiraṇyākṣaṃ mahābalam ..9 ..

Prahlāda was the udgātṛ, and the dutiful Śukra was the brahmā; / Indra of a thousand eyes was the victim: thus did that imperishable one sacrifice.
While that great and terrifying sacrifice was taking place, / Indra confronted the mighty daitya Hiraṇyākṣa.
