mārkaṇḍeya uvāca:
tato gacchet tu rājendra piṅgalāvartakaṃ nṛpa /
saṅgamasya samīpasthaṃ revāyā uttare taṭe //

Mārkaṇḍeya said: / Then, O best of kings, one should go to Piṅgalāvarta, O king, / situated near the confluence on the northern bank of the Revā.
