yudhiṣṭhira uvāca:
pippalādasya caritaṃ śrotumicchāmy ahaṃ prabho /
māhātmyaṃ tasya tīrthasya yatra siddho mahātapāḥ //
Yudhiṣṭhira said: / I desire to hear the deed of Pippalāda, O Lord, / and the glorification of that sacred bathing site where the one of great austerity attained perfection.
