79.44

na ca śaktaḥ paritrātuṃ brahmatejo hi duḥsaham /
tataś ca brahmabhavanaṃ brāhmaṇo brahmavittamaḥ //

“I am not capable of protecting you, for the brilliance of brahma is hard to endure.” / And then the brahmin, the best knower of brahma, went to the abode of Brahmā;
