ṛcam ekāṃ japet saumyaḥ sāmavedaphalaṃ labhet /
yajurvedasya japanaṃ ṛgvedasya tathaiva ca //
A gentle person reciting a single verse of the Ṛgveda gains the fruit of the Sāmaveda; / likewise the recitation of the Yajurveda and the Ṛgveda.
