Revākhaṇḍa (Vāyupurāṇa) 43.7

ṛcamekāṃ japet sāmnaḥ sāmavedaphalaṃ labhet /
yajurvedasya japanād ṛgvedasya tathaiva ca //
If one recites one verse of the Sāman, one obtains the fruit of the Sāmaveda, / and likewise from reciting [a verse] of the Yajurveda or of the Ṛgveda.
