āryāvartā naraśreṣṭha mahākuliśalāñchitāḥ /
sarvapāpakṣayakarāḥ sarvaduḥkhāpahārakāḥ //

They are holy sanctuaries, O best of men, marked by the great thunderbolt [trident],
bringing about the destruction of all sins and removing all sorrows.
