kurukṣetraṃ yathāpuṇyaṃ sarvakāmikam uttamam /
idaṃ tīrthaṃ tathā puṇyaṃ sarvakāmaphalapradam //
Just as Kurukṣetra is sacred, best for fulfilling all wishes, / so this sacred bathing site is sacred, bestowing the fruit of all desires.
