kurukṣetre yathā vṛddhir dānasya jagatīpate /
puṣkariṇyāṃ tathā vṛddhir dānasyāpi na saṃśayaḥ //
Just as there is an increase of gifting in Kurukṣetra, O lord of the earth, / so there is an increase of gifting at Puṣkariṇī; of this there is no doubt.
