brāhmaṇās tāṃs tu te dṛṣṭvā pāpiṣṭhā gatakalmaṣāḥ /
tīrthasyāsya prabhāveṇa narmadāyāḥ prabhāvataḥ //
Seeing those Brahmins, those sinners became cleansed of blemishes, / through the power of this sacred bathing site, through the power of the Narmadā.
