tadā prabhṛti tat tīrthaṃ karoṭīti mahīpate /
vikhyātaṃ bhārate loke bhūpṛṣṭhe pāṇḍunandana //
from that time forth, that sacred bathing site is renowned as Karoṭī, O king,
on the surface of the earth in the land of Bhārata, O son of Pāṇḍu.
