vidhinā ca pradāsyanti vidhinā pratigṛhṇate /
ubhayoḥ puṇyakarmāṇi prekṣakāḥ puṇyabhājanāḥ //

They who bestow according to the rule, and they who receive according to the rule— / the actions of both are meritorious, and those who witness it become vessels of merit.
