Seeing Prāṇa standing before him, he cursed the great, all-pervading lord:
'From this day forward, O lord of gods, your greatness shall not attain fame
in the three worlds, and particularly upon the earth.
Your incarnations, however, will be celebrated throughout the three worlds.'
