sarve pitṛgaṇā pūjyā puṣpadhūpānnasampadā
tilaiḥ kāryāḥ prayatnena śrāddhastasmin dvijottama

all classes of ancestors are to be worshipped with an abundance of flowers, incense, and food; / an ancestral rite is carefully to be performed on that day with sesame seeds, O best of the twice-born.
