pādmakalpamatītaṃ yattatparārdhaṃ dvijottamāḥ
vārāho vartate kalpo vārāho yatra padmabhūḥ
The Padmakalpa which has passed was that half-span, O best of the twice-born. / Current is the Vārāhakalpa, wherein the Lotus-born took the form of the Boar.
