praṇāmamekahastena ekaṃ vā'pi pradakṣiṇam
kālasevā tathā'kāle abdapuṇyaṃ vinaśyati

An obeisance with one hand, or a single circumambulation, / and service [rendered] at an improper time destroys the merit of a year.
