dvādaśyāṃ saṃyato bhūtvā brāhmaṇāya tapasvine
yo vai dadāti vārāhaṃ viṣṇulokaṃ sa gacchati
Having become self-controlled, whoever on the twelfth [lunar day] gives the Vārāha / to an ascetic brāhmaṇa, goes to the world of Viṣṇu.
