vyāsa uvāca |
śrutvā tadvacanaṃ śyāmā premayuktā babhūva ha |
pratasthe brāhmaṇastasmātsthānāduktvā samāhitaḥ ||

Vyâsa said:-- The King's lovely daughter was very glad on hearing the words of the Brâhmana, and drowned herself in ecstacy of love. The Brâhmin also departed, thinking of the whole affair.
