vyāsa uvāca |
sampannā bhūbhujaḥ sarve samāhūya sudarśanam |
ūcuḥ samāgataṃ śāntamekākinamatandritāḥ ||

Vyâsa said:-- Then the chief kings all invited Sudars’ana there; Sudars’ana, too, came there quietly, and the princes, seeing his quiet nature, asked him, “O one, engaged in practising vows! Who has invited you here? Why have you come here singly, in this assembly of kings?
