rājyayogyaṃ sutaṃ dṛṣṭvā rājā daśarathastadā |
rāghavāya dhuraṃ dātuṃ manaścakre nijāya vai ||

The king Das’aratha, then seeing Râma well qualified to take charge of the kingdom, proposed to install him on the throne of Ayodhyâ.
