kiṃ karomyadya saumitre magno'smi duḥkhasāgare |
na cāsti taraṇopāyo hyasahāyasya me kila ||

O Saumitre! I am drowned in the ocean of pains and troubles; What am I to do now? I have no means to cross this ocean; I am quite helpless, no doubt.
