tyajetprāṇānniyantṛtve maithilī bharatānuja |
na rāvaṇasya vaśagā bhavediti suniścitam ||
O Laksmana! Rest assured that in case Râvana exercises, out of his lordly position, any violence on Sîtâ, she will rather put an end to her life than come under his control.
