kāraṇena vinā kāryaṃ na bhavatyeva niścayaḥ |
tapo dānaṃ tathā yajñāḥ sāttvikātprabhavanti te ||

How, then, can these two Munis being embodied forego their Ahamkâras? Without any cause, no actions follow; this is quite certain.
