nyastaśastreṣu daityeṣu vinivṛttāstadā surāḥ |
viśrabdhāḥ svagṛhāngatvā krīḍāsaktāḥ susaṃsthitāḥ ||

On the Daitya’s leaving their weapons, the Gods desisted from battle, went to their respective places and freely gave themselves up to pleasure and amusements.
