utpetuḥ sahasā te vai sannaddhānbhayakarśitāḥ |
abruvanvacanaṃ tathyaṃ te devānvaladarpitān ||

The Daityas, seeing this all on a sudden, were attacked with fear and began to address the Devas, proud with their army, in words, full of good meanings and morals.
