ityukto bhagavānviṣṇuḥ śakreṇa prathitena ca |
cakraṃ sasmāra tarasā ghṛṇāṃ tyaktvātha mādhavaḥ ||
When thus requested by Indra who was very much perplexed, Bhagavân Visnu quickly remembered his Sudars’ana disc, casting aside the thought that it is hateful to kill a woman.
