nihatā balinaḥ sarve kecicchiṣṭāśca dānavāḥ |
nādya yuktāśca saṅgrāme sthātumevaṃ sukhāvahāḥ ||

Those who were of great strength amongst us, they all are slain; now we are left very few in number. In this crisis it is not advisable and auspicious for us to remain here in this battlefield.
