vidyārthaṃ śaraṇaṃ prāptā bhṛguṃ matvātimohitāḥ |
guruṇā vipralabdhāste lobhātko vā na muhyati ||
The Daityas, enchanted and deceived by the magic of Brihaspatî, took now his refuge for acquiring the knowledge from him, since they mistook him for S’ukrâchârya. Who is there that is not enchanted by the idea of gaining something?
