4.15.27

devaṃ nārāyaṇaṃ cātra samprāptā caṇḍikā kila |
mahiṣāntakarī nūnaṃ caṇḍamuṇḍavināśinī ||

This Chandikâ Goddess has come here to protect the Devas. She destroyed Mahisâsura and Chanda Munda; it was She that killed, in days of yore, Madhukaitava with evil look.
