yādṛśāstādṛśā mātaḥ sutāste dānavāḥ kila |
yatastvaṃ viśvajananī purāṇeṣu prakīrtitā ||
O Goddess! You have been sung in all the Purânas as the World Mother; therefore, O Mother! We are your sons just as the Devas are.
