kṛte'pi na sukhaṃ pūrṇaṃ saspṛhāṇāṃ phalairapi |
tasmāttyaktvā mahīmetāṃ prayāntvadya mahītalam ||

Whose mind is avaricious, He does not get peace and happiness, even if he acquires the Trilokî. Even, in the golden age, avaricious persons did not get happiness, though they acquired the fruits of their actions.
