praṇamya dānavāḥ sarve gatāḥ śaktyābhirakṣitāḥ |
antardadhe tato devī devāḥ svabhuvanaṃ gatāḥ ||

Vyâsa said:-- On hearing the Devî’s words, the Demons obeyed and bowing at Her feet and preserved by Her, went to Pâtâla.
