vyāsa uvāca |
iti teṣāṃ vacaḥ śrutvā śumbho daityapatistathā |
uvāca sainikānāśu kopākulitalocanaḥ ||

Vyâsa said:-- O King! S’umbha, the Lord of the Daityas, hearing the words of the soldiers, began to say, then, with eyes rolling with anger.
