tena sarve kapīndrāśca hatāḥ sammūrcchitāḥ kṛtāḥ |
lakṣmaṇo mūrcchitastatra bhṛśaṃ rāmaśca pīḍitaḥ ||

By him all the monkey chiefs were struck down and knocked unconscious;
Lakṣmaṇa fell unconscious there, and Rāma was severely distressed.
